Fig Bar Bread

- In a medium bowl, sift together flour, granulated sugar, baking powder and salt. Combine beaten eggs, milk, oil and vanilla. Add to flour mixture, stirring until well blended.
- In a small bowl, combine brown sugar and cinnamon. Cut in butter until mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
- Mix in crumbled fig bar cookies. Pour 1/3 of the batter into a greased and floured 8 1/2 x 4 1/2 x 2 5/8-inch loaf pan.
- Sprinkle half of the fig mixture over the batter.
- Pour another 1/3 of the batter into the pan and sprinkle remaining crumbs over.
- Top with remaining batter.
- With narrow spatula, swirl gently through batter and crumbs to marble.
- Bake at 350° for 50 to 55 minutes.
- Let stand 5 minutes to cool and remove from pan.
