Ingredients

  • 3 eggs
  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1 cup flour
  • 1/8 teaspoon salt
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1 1/2 cups figs
  • 1 cup nuts

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a mixing bowl, beat eggs, sugar, and vanilla until well combined.
  3. Add flour, salt, and baking powder; mix until smooth.
  4. Fold in chopped figs and nuts.
  5. Pour batter into a greased 9-inch square pan.
  6. Bake for 30 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
  7. Allow to cool slightly, then cover with powdered sugar before serving.
