- In a small mixer bowl, beat butter and cream cheese until light and fluffy.
- Beat in egg, vanilla, and half the cake mix until smooth.
- Stir in the remaining cake mix.
- Cover and chill the dough for 30 minutes.
- Prepare the Raisin Filling; allow it to cool.
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Roll about 1/4 of the dough at a time to 1/8-inch thickness on a lightly floured cloth-covered board.
- Cut into 1 1/2-inch squares using a cutter.
- Place half of the squares on an ungreased baking sheet; spoon 1/2 teaspoon of filling onto each.
- Cut a 1/2-inch 'X' in the center of the remaining squares.
- Place the filled squares on top of the filled ones and press together to seal.
- Bake for 10 minutes or until edges are very light brown.
