- Mix white flour, all-bran, salt, sugar, and fat (lard or shortening) together until well combined.
- Add boiling water gradually, stirring to form a dough. Let cool.
- Roll out the dough on a floured surface to desired thickness.
- Bake on a griddle until just browned.
- Place the baked flatbread on a cookie sheet and bake in a 250°F oven until crisp.
- Break into pieces and serve with butter.
