A light, airy dessert combining whipped egg whites, crunchy walnuts, and crispy crackers, topped with Cool Whip and sprinkles for a delightful treat suitable for gatherings.

Ingredients

  • 4 egg whites
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 1 1/2 c. sugar
  • 1 1/2 c. walnuts
  • 52 Ritz crackers
  • 1 large container Cool Whip

Instructions

  1. Beat egg whites until stiff peaks form.
  2. Gradually add sugar and continue beating until glossy and stiff.
  3. Add vanilla extract to the egg whites and mix gently.
  4. Place Ritz crackers in a blender and blend until crumbed.
  5. Blend walnuts in the same blender until finely chopped.
  6. Mix cracker crumbs and chopped walnuts together in a bowl.
  7. Gently fold the cracker and walnut mixture into the egg whites using a spoon.
  8. Grease and flour an oblong pan.
  9. Spread the mixture evenly in the prepared pan.
  10. Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 20 to 25 minutes.
  11. Allow to cool completely.
  12. Spread Cool Whip over the cooled dessert and add coconut or sprinkles as desired.
  13. Refrigerate until ready to serve.
