Ingredients

  • 2 egg whites
  • 2/3 cup sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1 teaspoon vinegar
  • 1 cup chocolate chips
  • 1 cup nuts

Instructions

  1. Take the oven rack out of the oven and cover with aluminum foil; set aside.
  2. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  3. Mix egg whites, sugar, vanilla, and vinegar until well combined.
  4. Beat the mixture until it forms stiff peaks.
  5. Gently fold in chocolate chips and nuts, if desired.
  6. Spoon the mixture onto the prepared foil-lined rack.
  7. Place the rack in the oven and turn the oven off.
  8. Leave the cookies in the oven overnight until they are crisp and dry.
