Ingredients

  • 2 1/2 cups whole wheat flour
  • 1/2 cup nonfat dry milk
  • 1 teaspoon sugar
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 6 tablespoons margarine

Instructions

  1. Mix the whole wheat flour, dry milk, sugar, salt, margarine, and egg with about 1/2 cup cold water until combined.
  2. Knead the dough for 3 minutes until smooth.
  3. Roll the dough to 1/2-inch thickness on a floured surface.
  4. Cut into dog bone shapes or desired cookie shapes.
  5. Place on a lightly greased cookie sheet.
  6. Bake at 350°F for 30 minutes until golden brown.
