Ingredients

  • 1 can (16 oz.) kidney beans, rinsed and drained
  • 1 can (16 oz.) pork and beans, undrained
  • 1 can (15-1/2 oz.) great northern beans, rinsed and drained
  • 1 can (15 oz.) black beans, rinsed and drained
  • 1 medium onion, chopped
  • 1/3 c. packed brown sugar
  • 1 tsp. sugar
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1 tsp. lemon Juice
  • 1/2 -1 tsp. hot pepper sauce
  • 1/4 tsp. each dried basil, dried oregano, ground cumin, garlic powder, onion powder and pepper
  • 3 bacon strips, cut into 2-inch pieces

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, combine the beans.
  2. In another bowl, combine the onion, sugars, salt lemon juice, salt, hot pepper sauce and seasonings.
  3. Stir into beans.
  4. Pour into a greased 2 quart baking dish.
  5. Top with bacon pieces.
  6. Bake
  7. uncovered at 350° for 1 hour or until heated through and bacon is crisp on top.
