Ingredients

  • 1 stick margarine
  • 1 cup flour
  • 1/2 cup nuts
  • 1 (8 oz.) package cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 large carton Cool Whip
  • 2 small packages chocolate pie filling (instant)

Instructions

  1. Mix together margarine, flour, and nuts.
  2. Spread the mixture in a 13 x 9 x 2-inch pan and brown.
  3. Allow the crust to cool.
  4. Spread softened cream cheese over the cooled crust.
  5. Top with powdered sugar and spread evenly.
  6. Fold in Cool Whip until well combined.
  7. Spread the cream mixture over the crust layer.
  8. Prepare chocolate pie filling as directed on the package.
  9. Spread the chocolate filling over the cream layer.
  10. Refrigerate until set before serving.
