Ingredients

  • 2 c. sharp Cheddar cheese, shredded
  • 8 oz. pkg. cream cheese, softened
  • 4 oz. Blue cheese, crumbled
  • 1/4 c. butter or margarine, softened
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 2/3 c. walnuts or pecans, chopped

Instructions

  1. Beat together the shredded cheddar cheese, softened cream cheese, crumbled blue cheese, softened butter, and minced garlic.
  2. Form the mixture into 2 balls.
  3. Roll the cheese balls in chopped walnuts or pecans.
  4. Wrap each cheese ball in plastic wrap and freeze.
  5. Keep frozen; thaw before serving.
