Ingredients

  • 2 qt. sliced cucumbers
  • 1 medium onion (optional)
  • 2 Tbsp. noniodized salt
  • 1 1/2 c. sugar
  • 1/2 c. white vinegar

Instructions

  1. Cover the sliced cucumbers and optional onion with water and stir in the salt.
  2. Let soak for 2 hours, then drain well.
  3. Mix the sugar and vinegar together.
  4. Stir well to combine, then pour the mixture over the cucumbers.
  5. Freeze the cucumbers with the mixture.
