Ingredients

  • 1 cup vinegar
  • 2 cups sugar
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1 teaspoon celery seed
  • 1 chopped onion
  • 2 sweet peppers, chopped
  • 1 large carrot, shredded
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon mustard seed

Instructions

  1. Bring vinegar, sugar, water, and celery seed to a boil, then let it cool.
  2. Add the remaining ingredients to the cabbage.
  3. Pour the dressing over the vegetables and mix well.
  4. Serve immediately or freeze for later use.
