Ingredients

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • 3 cups fresh corn kernels
  • 2 tablespoons whipping cream
  • 1 tablespoon butter, melted

Instructions

  1. Combine all-purpose flour and salt in a medium bowl.
  2. Mix well to evenly distribute the dry ingredients.
  3. In a separate bowl, mix together the beaten egg, fresh corn kernels, whipping cream, and melted butter.
  4. Stir the wet mixture into the dry ingredients until just combined.
  5. Heat vegetable oil in a deep fryer or large skillet to 375°F (190°C).
  6. Drop the mixture by tablespoons into hot oil, being careful not to overcrowd.
  7. Cook until golden brown, turning once to ensure even browning.
  8. Remove with a slotted spoon and drain on paper towels.
