Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup margarine
  • 4 to 5 large peaches or 8 to 9 small peaches, peeled and sliced
  • 1 cup packed brown sugar

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Melt the margarine in a 9 x 13-inch pan over low heat.
  3. Spread the brown sugar evenly over the melted margarine.
  4. Arrange the peeled and sliced peaches on top of the sugar and margarine mixture.
  5. Prepare a yellow or white cake mix according to the package directions.
  6. Pour the prepared cake batter over the peaches in the pan.
  7. Bake in the preheated oven for 45 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  8. Allow the cake to cool slightly before inverting onto a serving platter to serve.
