Ingredients

  • 2 to 3 lb. chicken
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1/2 tsp. pepper
  • 2 c. flour
  • 1 c. oil

Instructions

  1. Wash chicken and pat excess water dry with a paper towel.
  2. Season chicken with salt and pepper.
  3. Roll chicken in flour, coating both sides evenly.
  4. Heat oil in a large frying pan over medium heat.
  5. Fry chicken until both sides are golden brown, about 10 minutes per side.
  6. Remove chicken and drain on paper towels.
  7. Continue cooking remaining chicken pieces until all are cooked through.
