Ingredients

  • 8 ears fresh corn
  • 2 Tbsp. sugar
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1/2 c. bacon drippings
  • 1 qt. water
  • 1 egg
  • 2 Tbsp. flour

Instructions

  1. Mix all ingredients except egg into skillet.
  2. Cook until liquid is nearly all gone.
  3. Stir in beaten egg and stir corn until it is thick.
  4. Serve hot.
