Tips & Substitutions

For extra flavor, try adding Italian seasoning or garlic powder to the bread crumbs. If you're out of mozzarella, Monterey Jack is a great substitute. Make sure the oil is hot enough before frying to achieve a crispy texture. If you want to make them ahead, prepare and freeze the cheese sticks before frying, which can be a great time-saver for parties.

Serving Suggestions

Serve fried mozzarella sticks with marinara sauce or ranch dressing for dipping. They also pair well with a fresh salad or as an appetizer at a gathering. For a fun twist, try serving them alongside Aunt Eva'S Ofield Cookies for a sweet and savory snack combo.

Storage & Reheating

Leftover fried mozzarella sticks can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. To reheat, place them on a baking sheet and warm in a preheated oven at 375°F for about 10 minutes until crispy again. Avoid microwaving, as this can make them soggy.
