Frosting Bars are delicious, easy-to-make sweet treats with a rich frosting and nutty flavor, perfect for satisfying dessert cravings or sharing at parties.

Ingredients

  • 1 tub Creamy Deluxe ready to spread frosting
  • 2 eggs
  • 3/4 cup Gold Medal all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 cup chopped nuts

Instructions

  1. Heat oven to 350°F.
  2. Grease a 9 x 9 x 2-inch square pan.
  3. Mix 1 cup of the frosting, eggs, flour, baking powder, and nuts in a medium-sized bowl.
  4. Cover and reserve the remaining frosting.
  5. Spread the frosting mixture evenly in the prepared pan.
  6. Bake until a wooden toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean, about 20 to 25 minutes.
  7. Allow to cool.
  8. Spread the reserved frosting over the cooled bars.
  9. Cut into bars approximately 2 x 1 1/2 inches.
