Sweet and crunchy fruit and nut clusters combine melted chocolate, toasted almonds, chopped dates, and candied cherries for a delightful treat perfect for gifting or snacking.

Ingredients

  • 12 oz. semi-sweet or vanilla milk chocolate
  • 1/2 cup toasted slivered almonds
  • 1/2 cup chopped dates
  • 1/2 cup chopped red candied cherries
  • 8 red candied cherries

Instructions

  1. Line cookie sheets with waxed paper.
  2. In a medium saucepan over low heat, melt the chocolate chips and stir until smooth.
  3. Stir in the toasted slivered almonds, chopped dates, and chopped candied cherries.
  4. Drop by teaspoonfuls onto the prepared cookie sheets.
  5. Garnish each cluster with a quartered candied cherry piece.
  6. Refrigerate until set.
  7. Store in an airtight container in a cool place.
