Tips & Substitutions

To enhance the flavor, consider using fresh pineapple instead of canned. If you want a non-alcoholic version, substitute the cream sherry with a mix of apple juice and a splash of vinegar for acidity. For a thicker dressing, you can add a bit more cornstarch. Also, experiment with seasonal fruits like blueberries or raspberries for added variety.

Serving Suggestions

This fruit bowl is a vibrant centerpiece for brunch or a light dessert. Serve alongside rich dishes like Southern Persimmon Pudding or Dolly Cake to balance flavors. For a more filling option, pair with yogurt or granola. A light sparkling water or iced tea complements the dish beautifully, enhancing the refreshing experience.

Storage & Reheating

Store any leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 2 days. The dressing may separate, so gently stir before serving again. Avoid freezing as the texture of the fruits will change after thawing. Serve cold for the best taste.
