A delightful fruit crunch cobbler combining pineapple and cherry or blueberry pie filling with a crunchy pecan topping, perfect for family gatherings or casual dessert cravings.

Ingredients

  • 1 large can crushed pineapple (undrained)
  • 1 can cherry or blueberry pie filling
  • 1 box yellow cake mix
  • 1 to 2 cups chopped pecans
  • 2 sticks margarine, melted

Instructions

  1. In a 13 x 9-inch pan, layer the crushed pineapple (undrained) first.
  2. Add the can of pie filling of your choice (cherry or blueberry) on top of the pineapple layer.
  3. Sprinkle 1 cup of chopped pecans evenly over the pie filling.
  4. Sprinkle the dry yellow cake mix over the pecans.
  5. Drizzle the melted margarine evenly over the cake mix.
  6. Sprinkle sugar and remaining pecans over the top of the mixture.
  7. Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 45 minutes to 1 hour until bubbly and golden.
  8. Serve warm or at room temperature, yielding approximately 12 to 15 servings.
