A light, fruity dessert sauce with pineapple and Cool Whip, perfect for topping ice cream or served over fresh fruit for a sweet, creamy treat.

Ingredients

  • 1 (13 1/4 oz.) can pineapple slices with juice
  • 1 Tbsp. flour
  • 1 cup Cool Whip
  • 2 eggs

Instructions

  1. Heat the pineapple juice (about 9 ounces) in a double boiler.
  2. Mix together eggs, flour, and sugar until well combined.
  3. Add the egg mixture to the hot pineapple juice and cook until thickened.
  4. Refrigerate the sauce until chilled.
  5. Before serving, fold in Cool Whip, adding more or less than 1 cup according to taste.
