Ingredients

  • 3/4 cup shortening
  • 2 eggs
  • 3 cups flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt

Instructions

  1. Mix sugar and gelatin together.
  2. Add shortening and eggs; blend well.
  3. Sift flour, baking powder, and salt; add to mixture.
  4. Roll out dough to 1/4-inch thickness on a floured board.
  5. Cut out with 3-inch cookie cutter.
  6. Place on greased baking sheet and bake at 375°F for 6 to 8 minutes.
