Ingredients

  • 1 (1 lb.) can sour cherries
  • 2/3 cup sugar
  • 2 drops red food coloring
  • 1 cup chopped nuts
  • 1 (1 lb.) can crushed pineapple
  • 1/4 cup flour
  • 2 large bananas (mashed)
  • 1 (3 oz.) package orange gelatin

Instructions

  1. In a saucepan, combine the cherries, pineapple with juices, sugar, flour, and food coloring.
  2. Cook until thickened.
  3. Remove from stove; add the gelatin.
  4. Cool until slightly thickened, then stir in the bananas and nuts.
  5. Chill until firm.
