Ingredients

  • 1 cup raisins
  • 1/2 cup chopped dates
  • 1/2 cup apples
  • 3 teaspoons Sweet*10
  • 1 cup water
  • 1 package pecans
  • 1/2 cup Crisco
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1 cup flour
  • 1 teaspoon soda

Instructions

  1. Boil together dates, raisins, apples, and water for 8 minutes.
  2. Add Crisco while still hot and set the pan in cold water to cool.
  3. Add flour, eggs, and Sweet*10 to the mixture.
  4. Stir in vanilla and crushed pecans last.
  5. Place the mixture in the refrigerator to chill before dropping by teaspoonfuls onto a greased cookie sheet.
  6. Bake at 350°F for 10 to 12 minutes.
