Ingredients

  • 4 heaping Tbsp. cocoa or 4 sq. chocolate
  • 2 sticks oleomargarine
  • 2 c. sugar
  • 4 eggs
  • 1 1/2 c. all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 1 c. nuts

Instructions

  1. Melt butter and chocolate (or cocoa) over very low heat.
  2. Add sugar, eggs, flour, vanilla, and mix well.
  3. Fold in nuts.
  4. Pour batter into two greased 8-inch square cake pans.
  5. Bake at 350°F for 15 to 20 minutes.
