Ingredients

  • 11 1/2 oz. milk chocolate bits
  • 1/2 cup margarine
  • 1/2 cup light Karo syrup
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla
  • 1 cup sifted confectioners sugar
  • 4 cups Rice Krispies

Instructions

  1. In a saucepan, place the milk chocolate bits, margarine, and light Karo syrup.
  2. Stir over low heat until the mixture is melted and smooth.
  3. Remove from heat; stir in vanilla and sifted confectioners sugar.
  4. Gently fold in the Rice Krispies until evenly coated.
  5. Pour the mixture into a greased 13 x 9 x 2-inch Teflon pan or spread on a cookie sheet for thinner pieces.
  6. Press down gently to distribute evenly.
  7. Allow to cool and set in the refrigerator.
  8. Cut into squares and store in an airtight container.
