Ingredients

Instructions

  1. Melt butter; add sugar and cocoa, stirring until well blended. Remove from heat and set aside.
  2. Beat eggs slightly; stir in syrup and salt.
  3. Add cocoa mixture; blend well.
  4. Stir in pecans. Pour into pie crust.
  5. Bake at 375° for 45 to 50 minutes or until set.
  6. Cool; let stand 8 hours before serving.
  7. Garnish with whipped topping.
  8. Serves 8.
