Fudgy Scotch Ring
A rich, fudgy treat with layers of chocolate and butterscotch, accented by crunchy walnuts and cherries, perfect for sharing at gatherings or as a decadent dessert.

Instructions
- Melt chocolate and butterscotch morsels with sweetened condensed milk in the top of a double boiler over hot (not boiling) water.
- Stir occasionally until the morsels melt and the mixture begins to thicken.
- Remove from heat.
- Add chopped walnuts and vanilla extract. Blend well.
- Chill for about 1 hour or until the mixture thickens.
- Line the bottom of a 9-inch pie pan with a 12-inch square of foil.
- Place 3/4 cup walnut halves in the bottom of the pan, forming a 2-inch wide flat ring.
- Spoon the chocolate mixture in small mounds on top of the nuts to form a ring.
- Decorate with remaining nuts and maraschino cherries, if desired.
- Chill in the refrigerator until firm enough to slice.
- Cut into 1/2-inch slices.
