Ingredients

  • 3 Tbsp. butter or margarine, softened
  • 3 slices French bread
  • 1/4 tsp. garlic powder

Instructions

  1. Spread butter or margarine over both sides of bread slices and sprinkle with garlic powder.
  2. Cut the bread into 3/4-inch cubes.
  3. Bake the bread cubes on a cookie sheet at 350°F (175°C) for 15 minutes or until they are crisp and dry.
  4. Let the croutons cool, then store in an airtight container.
