Ingredients

  • 1 lb. baking potatoes
  • 3 cloves garlic
  • 1/4 c. grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2/3 c. flour
  • salt and pepper

Instructions

  1. Peel the potatoes and quarter them.
  2. Boil the potatoes with garlic until soft, about 15 minutes.
  3. Drain the potatoes and garlic.
  4. Mix the mashed potatoes with grated Parmesan cheese, flour, salt, and pepper to form a dough.
  5. Shape the dough into gnocchi and cook in boiling water until they float.
  6. Serve hot, optionally topped with additional Parmesan or garlic butter.
