A rich, creamy Italian dessert layered with ladyfingers and ricotta, accented with chocolate chips and anisette, perfect for special occasions or indulgent gatherings.

Ingredients

  • 3 pkg. ladyfingers
  • 2 lb. Ricotta
  • 1 oz. anisette
  • 1 1/2 c. sugar
  • 1/2 tsp. vanilla
  • 8 Tbsp. mini chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. Mix all ingredients well, except ladyfingers.
  2. Line a 9-inch spring-form pan with ladyfingers on the sides and bottom.
  3. Spread half of the ricotta mixture over the ladyfingers.
  4. Add another layer of ladyfingers over the ricotta mixture.
  5. Spread the remaining ricotta mixture over the second layer of ladyfingers.
  6. Top with a final layer of ladyfingers.
  7. Cover the cake with whipped cream on the top and sides.
  8. Make the cake 2 days before serving to allow flavors to meld.
