Ingredients

  • 1 head cabbage
  • 1 lb hamburger
  • 1 medium onion
  • 1 pepper
  • 1 large can tomatoes
  • 1 can Ro-Tel tomatoes
  • 1 can Cheddar cheese soup
  • salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. In a large pot, brown the hamburger, chopped pepper, and chopped onion; then drain excess fat.
  2. Add chopped cabbage, Ro-Tel tomatoes, and large can of tomatoes to the pot.
  3. Stir in the can of Cheddar cheese soup.
  4. Cook on low heat or simmer for about 2 hours, stirring occasionally.
  5. Serve hot, ideally with cornbread.
