Ingredients

  • 3 eggs
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1/3 cup flour
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 2 apples, peeled and sliced thin
  • juice of 1 lemon
  • 4 tablespoons butter
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon

Instructions

  1. In a blender, mix eggs, flour, milk, and salt.
  2. Blend until smooth.
  3. Let batter stand for 1 hour.
  4. Sprinkle lemon juice over apple slices.
  5. In a 12-inch oven-safe skillet, heat 2 tablespoons butter.
  6. When bubbly, pour in the batter.
  7. Cover with apple slices and bake in a 375°F oven for 10 to 15 minutes.
  8. Dot with 2 tablespoons butter.
  9. Sprinkle sugar and cinnamon mixture over apples.
  10. Return to oven for 2 minutes.
