Easter Lilies are charming, edible decorations made from egg salad on bread, decorated with carrots and pickle slices, perfect for spring celebrations or festive gatherings.

Ingredients

  • 3 hard-cooked eggs
  • 1 Tbsp. mayonnaise
  • 1 tsp. finely chopped onion
  • 1/4 tsp. salt
  • dash of pepper
  • 1 tsp. vinegar
  • 4 bread slices
  • 4 long thin carrot sticks

Instructions

  1. Combine chopped eggs, mayonnaise, finely chopped onion, salt, and pepper in a bowl.
  2. Add vinegar and mash until smooth to make the egg salad.
  3. Spread the egg salad evenly on each slice of bread.
  4. Fold two opposite corners of the bread together with toothpicks to form a lily shape.
  5. Decorate the lily with a carrot stick at the center and pickle slices for leaves.
