Ingredients

  • 1/2 stick oleo
  • 1 c. molasses
  • 1 c. buttermilk
  • 1 tsp. soda, dissolved in milk
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 c. sugar
  • 2 1/2 c. flour
  • 1 tsp. cinnamon
  • 1 tsp. ginger

Instructions

  1. Mix.
  2. Beat until smooth.
  3. Store in airtight jar for up to 2 months.
  4. Bake at 350° for 35 to 40 minutes when ready to serve.
