Ingredients

  • 2 egg whites
  • 1/8 tsp. cream of tartar
  • 2 tsp. water
  • 3 c. powdered sugar

Instructions

  1. Beat egg whites, cream of tartar, and water until it holds a stiff peak.
  2. Gradually beat in powdered sugar.
  3. Continue beating for 5-10 minutes until it holds a soft peak.
  4. Cover with a damp towel when not in use and keep tightly covered if made ahead.
  5. Note: It hardens when exposed to air.
