Instructions
- Cream the first 3 ingredients.
- Add the egg and mix well.
- Add the flour, salt, soda, baking powder, ginger, cloves, cinnamon and nutmeg; mix thoroughly. Store dough at least 2 hours in refrigerator before rolling on floured board and cutting into cookies.
- Roll at least 1/4-inch thick. Bake 10 to 12 minutes in a 350° oven.
- Use an ungreased cookie sheet.
