Ingredients

  • 8 medium carrots
  • 3/4 cup water
  • 2 tablespoons water
  • 1 tablespoon brown sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon instant beef bouillon
  • dash of pepper

Instructions

  1. Cut carrots into 2-inch pieces.
  2. In a pot, combine carrots, 3/4 cup water, 2 tablespoons water, brown sugar, beef bouillon, and a dash of pepper.
  3. Bring to a boil over medium heat, then reduce heat to simmer.
  4. Cover and cook until carrots are tender, about 25 minutes.
  5. Remove carrots from the pot and boil the remaining liquid rapidly to reduce to a glaze consistency.
  6. Add carrots back into the glaze and turn to coat evenly.
  7. Sprinkle with parsley before serving.
