Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 cups flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/3 cup melted butter
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/4 teaspoon almond extract
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 2 teaspoons lemon extract
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons real lemon juice

Instructions

  1. Combine flour, baking powder, and salt in a mixing bowl.
  2. In another bowl, stir together melted butter, sugar, eggs, and almond extract.
  3. Add the flour mixture and milk alternately to the sugar mixture, mixing well after each addition.
  4. Stir in lemon extract and lemon juice.
  5. Pour the batter into a greased and floured loaf pan.
  6. Bake at 350°F for 55 to 60 minutes, until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
