A delightful layered cake featuring strawberry and vanilla flavors, topped with fresh strawberries and Cool Whip, perfect for celebrations or a sweet summer treat.

Ingredients

  • 1 box white or yellow cake mix
  • 1 (3 oz.) box strawberry jello
  • 1 pt. strawberries
  • 3 1/2 oz. pkg. instant vanilla pudding

Instructions

  1. Bake the cake mix according to the package directions in a 9 x 13-inch pan.
  2. While the cake is hot, use a toothpick to poke holes all over the top.
  3. Dissolve the strawberry jello in 2 cups of boiling water, then pour over the hot cake.
  4. Allow the cake to cool completely.
  5. Spread a layer of strawberries over the cooled cake.
  6. Pour vanilla pudding over the strawberries.
  7. Frost the top with Cool Whip.
  8. Decorate with additional strawberries on top.
