Ingredients

  • 2 egg whites
  • 2/3 cup sugar
  • 2/3 cup Rice Krispies
  • 6 oz. small chocolate bits

Instructions

  1. Turn the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Beat the egg whites until just frothy, not stiff.
  3. Add sugar gradually and beat until stiff peaks form.
  4. Gently fold in Rice Krispies and small chocolate bits.
  5. Drop teaspoonfuls onto a greased cookie sheet, about 40 pieces.
  6. Bake for 1 minute.
  7. Turn off the oven.
  8. Do not open the oven door.
  9. Leave the meringues in the oven overnight to dry.
