Golden Corn Sticks

Ingredients

  • 3/4 c. flour
  • 3/4 c. yellow cornmeal
  • 1 Tbsp. sugar
  • 1 tsp. baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp. soda
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1 beaten egg
  • 1 c. dairy sour cream
  • 2 Tbsp. cooking oil

Instructions

  1. Stir thoroughly the flour, cornmeal, sugar, baking powder, soda and salt.
  2. Combine egg, sour cream and oil.
  3. Add to dry ingredients; stir just until blended.
  4. Preheat corn stick pans; grease generously.
  5. Fill pans 2/3 full.
  6. Bake at 400° for 15 to 20 minutes.
