- Rinse, pat dry, and trim fresh mushrooms or drain canned mushrooms.
- Set aside.
- In a small paper or plastic bag, combine crushed corn flakes, Italian seasoning, salt, and red pepper.
- Dip mushrooms into half and half, then into the bag with corn flakes and shake to coat.
- Place coated mushrooms on a cookie sheet.
- Bake in a preheated oven at 350°F for 15 minutes.
