Golden Potatoes are a creamy, cheesy side dish with tender potatoes, melted cheddar, and savory onions, perfect for family dinners or holiday gatherings.

Ingredients

  • 6 to 8 medium potatoes
  • 1/4 cup margarine
  • 2 packages grated Cheddar cheese
  • 1/3 cup onions
  • 2 cups sour cream
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon pepper

Instructions

  1. Cook potatoes with skins on until tender.
  2. Allow potatoes to cool, then peel and grate them.
  3. Melt margarine and pour over the grated potatoes.
  4. Add sour cream, grated Cheddar cheese, chopped onions, salt, and pepper.
  5. Mix all ingredients thoroughly.
  6. Transfer to a baking dish and bake at 350°F for 30 minutes.
