  • 48 graham crackers
  • 2 sticks oleo (butter)
  • 1 to 1 1/2 cups pecans, finely chopped
  • 1 1/2 cups dark brown sugar

Instructions

  1. Place about 48 graham crackers on a large cookie sheet to cover the pan.
  2. In a medium saucepan, melt 2 sticks of oleo (butter).
  3. Add 1 to 1 1/2 cups of finely chopped pecans and 1 1/2 cups of dark brown sugar to the melted oleo.
  4. Heat the mixture until the sugar is dissolved, then cook slowly for 5 minutes, stirring constantly.
