Grandma'S Raspberry Dessert
Ingredients
- 2 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen raspberries ⓘ
- 1 c. water ⓘ
- 1/2 c. sugar ⓘ
- 2 tsp. lemon juice ⓘ
- 4 Tbsp. cornstarch
- 1/4 c. cold water ⓘ
- 50 large marshmallows ⓘ
- 1 c. milk ⓘ
- 1 1/4 c. graham cracker crumbs ⓘ
- 1/4 c. chopped nuts ⓘ
- 1/4 c. melted butter ⓘ
- 2 c. heavy whipping cream or 2 large pkg. dessert topping mix ⓘ
Instructions
- Heat raspberries with water, sugar and lemon juice.
- Dissolve cornstarch in 1/4 cup cold water, then stir into raspberries and cook until thickened; cool.
- Melt marshmallows in milk over boiling water.
- Then cool thoroughly.
- Whip cream or topping mix and fold into marshmallow mixture, which has been cooled.
