Grandma'S Raspberry Dessert

Ingredients

  • 2 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen raspberries
  • 1 c. water
  • 1/2 c. sugar
  • 2 tsp. lemon juice
  • 4 Tbsp. cornstarch
  • 1/4 c. cold water
  • 50 large marshmallows
  • 1 c. milk
  • 1 1/4 c. graham cracker crumbs
  • 1/4 c. chopped nuts
  • 1/4 c. melted butter
  • 2 c. heavy whipping cream or 2 large pkg. dessert topping mix

Instructions

  1. Heat raspberries with water, sugar and lemon juice.
  2. Dissolve cornstarch in 1/4 cup cold water, then stir into raspberries and cook until thickened; cool.
  3. Melt marshmallows in milk over boiling water.
  4. Then cool thoroughly.
  5. Whip cream or topping mix and fold into marshmallow mixture, which has been cooled.
