Ingredients

  • 2 cakes yeast
  • 1 cup boiling water
  • 3/4 cup shortening
  • 2 eggs, beaten
  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 2 teaspoons salt
  • 1 cup cold water
  • 1/2 cup lukewarm water
  • 7 1/2 cups sifted flour

Instructions

  1. Combine all ingredients and put into refrigerator.
  2. Pinch off as needed to make biscuits.
  3. Let cold dough rise before baking.
  4. Grease the pan.
  5. Bake at 325° until golden brown.
