Ingredients

  • 1 pint milk
  • 1 small piece butter
  • 1/2 cup Grape-Nuts
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • salt

Instructions

  1. Scald the milk with a small piece of butter added.
  2. Allow the milk to cool.
  3. Add the rest of the ingredients: sugar, beaten eggs, salt, and Grape-Nuts.
  4. Pour the mixture into a baking dish.
  5. Place the dish in a pan of hot water for baking.
  6. Bake in a 350°F oven until a knife inserted in the center comes out dry.
