Ingredients

  • 1 pkg. Jiffy yellow cake mix
  • 1 large vanilla instant pudding mix
  • 8 oz. cream cheese
  • 20 oz. crushed pineapple
  • 1 large container Cool Whip

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven and prepare a 13 x 9 inch pan.
  2. Bake the yellow cake mix according to package directions in the prepared pan.
  3. Allow the cake to cool completely.
  4. In a mixing bowl, beat the vanilla instant pudding mix with 8 oz. cream cheese until smooth.
  5. Fold in the crushed pineapple until well combined.
  6. Spread the pineapple and pudding mixture evenly over the cooled cake.
  7. Top with a large container of Cool Whip, spreading it evenly over the filling.
  8. Refrigerate for at least 1 hour before serving.
